Dr. Gödölle graduated from the Law Faculty of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. He studied commercial and international private law for one year at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany between 1987 and 1988 and continued with postgraduate legal studies at Queen Mary and Westfield College (University of London) between 1990 and 1991 where he obtained his Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and European Competition Law.

As a corporate, commercial and IP lawyer, Tamás has been practising in Hungary since 1991, joining Bogsch & Partners in 1995 where he became a Partner in 1996.

Dr. Gödölle advises on issues relating to trademarks, copyright, antitrust, unfair competition and advertising law, as well as on franchising and distributor/agency contracts. He has extensive experience in IT, privacy, data protection and media law issues.

Tamás is a member of the Budapest Bar, the Hungarian and International Leagues of Competition Law (LIDC), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw), the International Association of Industrial Property Rights (AIPPI) and the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright (MIE). Dr. Gödölle is also on the Editorial Board of the European Copyright and Design Reports (ECDR), and gives lectures at international conferences and publishes articles in various legal periodicals on IP and IT related issues. He is fluent in English and German and speaks French.
