Mr Oliver SuemeFieldfisher
I am an IT and Internet law specialist and have almost two decades of experience in the field.
I advise clients on all areas of the law affecting information technology, with a focus on IT contracts, data protection, IT security and e-commerce.
Companies along the entire internet value chain rely on my advice, chief among them are platform operators, Internet service providers (ISPs) and innovative start-ups. Increasingly, I also advise companies from other economic sectors on their path to digitalisation.
In addition, I advise companies and associations involved in legal and political decision-making about digitalisation and Internet policy at the national and European levels.
I have significant access to the changing legal frameworks and political influence on key developments in the technology industry.
Furthermore, I am vice president of Eco (www.eco.de), the association of the Internet industry, and president of its European umbrella association EuroISPA (European Internet Service Providers Association, http://www.euroispa.org) in Brussels.
I advise my clients in German and English.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and keeping up with my favourite soccer team—the Hamburger SV — preferably live, at the stadium.
