Marcin Huczkowski is a partner in charge of the IP / IT and personal data practice in the Kraków office of Fieldfisher. He has been specializing for over 18 years in intellectual property law (with a particular focus on copyright law), new technology law, and media law.

Marcin possesses significant experience in providing legal services to (i) entities operating in the media market, including: producers/publishers of computer games, press and book publishers, television, music and film producers, and cultural institutions, (ii) entrepreneurs in the e-commerce sector providing electronic services, as well as (iii) entities in the IT/TMT sector, especially regarding software/system implementation and support services.

He is also involved in issues related to personal data protection. He supervised comprehensive implementation (adaptation) of GDPR requirements in over 60 entities, including clients within large capital groups.

Marcin is an academic teacher at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (intellectual property law) and at the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University (copyright law in the context of the art and antiques market).
