Sonia Gracia is a senior lawyer in the Department of Telecommunications, Media and New Technologies (TMT) at Fieldfisher Spain, specialising in personal data protection, digital law and intellectual and industrial property.

For more than 8 years Sonia has advised national and international public and private companies on the protection of personal data, digital law and new technologies, including adaptation to applicable regulations and working as external Data Protection Officer (DPO). Sonia also advises on technology contracting, regulation of e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and applications and domain name claims.

Sonia has experience in the following sectors: life sciences, education, public administration, retail trade, marketing, health, technology, media and telecommunications and is focussed on trying to understand the client’s point of view so as to be able to offer pragmatic advice.

Sonia holds a Law Degree from Pompeu Fabra University and a Master’s in Intellectual Property and Information Society from ESADE and is a member of the Bar Association of Barcelona.
